Inter Cultural Marriages in West Africa

Gone are the days when people discriminated against marrying someone from another country or another tribe.

These days inter country marriages are a thing and are even  goals!

Of course the weddings are a lot more fun because guests can expect the best of both cultures.

I definitely enjoy watching the videos of inter cultural weddings and also posting them on my instagram page. ;)

Here's one I especially enjoyed of a Nigerian woman and her Ivorian boo. In this video shared by @thegalleryng, the groom is asked by the MC: "where are you?" and he replies by saying :Je suis dans la maison de ma mere and de mon pere" French for I am in my mother and father's house (referring to his wife's parents). That is just awesome!

Intercultural marriages are definitely breaking down barriers and we are here for it.
